The Sarah's Estate Chardonnay is our most historic wine. From our very first vintages in the late 1970's, this label has been responsible for our world-class reputation growing this noble grape.
The 2023 Estate Chardonnay displays bright citrus, white blossom, yellow apple, stone fruit, and a hint of honey, with a long, lingering finish. The time spent primarily in neutral French oak barrels lends a hint of vanilla and adds a soft, creamy texture to this bright, complex wine. Pair with the enclosed recipe for Julia’s French Onion Soup. The Chardonnay’s acidity helps balance out the richness of the cheese in the soup while complementing the flavor of the caramelized onions.

Tangerine sorbet aromas are topped with toasted almond flake and dusty earth on the nose of this bottling. There's a lemon peel bite to the baked apple core of the palate. — Matt Kettmann
